About Me and PSS.
I'm Hayley, I’ve worked in the veterinary industry for over 14 years, starting as a ward assistant at 16 and later qualifying as a veterinary nurse. I went on to become a Practice Director across three sites and have supported many teams through the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme. I understand both the challenges and the rewards of accreditation, and my goal is to make the process simpler, less stressful, and more achievable for every practice.
The RCVS Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) is a voluntary accreditation system designed to ensure veterinary practices meet high standards of care, safety, and service. It provides a framework that helps practices demonstrate their commitment to clinical excellence, client trust, and patient welfare.
For practices, PSS offers structure, accountability, and recognition for the work you do every day.
